Frequently Asked Questions

What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is an objective, visual examination of the structure and systems of the home.

What is included in the inspection?
You will be given an unbiased inspection because I cannot perform repairs in accordance to the Arizona code of ethics. If deficiencies are found, we will recommend which professional you need to have repairs performed or further evaluated. You will receive a computer-generated report documenting deficiencies, condition, and age of the major components of the home.

How much will it cost?
My prices are based on the square footage and age of the home. You can request a price quote by calling me at 480-232-2351.

How long does the inspection take?
The average size home will take 2 - 3 hours.

Does the buyer need to attend?
No, but we highly recommend that you are there so when we complete the inspection we can answer any questions and address any concerns. With the time it takes for the inspection this will give you a chance to take a closer look at the home. We want you to be involved!

When will the report be available?
Upon completion of the inspection.

What kind of report do you use?
My report is computer generated using Inspectvue® software. We have personally customized the report to look and feel very easy to read and understand. We can e-mail, print or burn a copy to a disc on site. We take my time and go over all comments that are in the report and answer all questions.
